PLUGIN FOR FIREFOX USERS
Important note: Even if you have installed the "Windows Media Player, if you use the Firefox browser, you may still need to install the plugin to integrate the wmp in the web pages.
The page 'Port25' (linked above this line) also contains detailed instructions about the installation.

Click "Download Now", and you will be prompted to save the file.
Save the file to your desktop.

Once it has downloaded, close all Firefox windows and tabs.
Click the File menu at the top of the Firefox window and select Exit.
3) When Firefox is completely closed, run the downloaded file on your desktop and begin installing the plugin.

When the installation is complete, open Firefox.
You can check if the plugin is already installed as follows:
Type in the address bar of Firefox 'about: plugins' and press Enter. This will display a detailed list of all plugins in Firefox.
Scroll the list and finds the record associated with Microsoft ® Windows Media Player Firefox Plugin.
You can also check the correct install by visiting the TV or radio channel that needed the wmp plugin.

Configure the multimedia network protocols as indicated below.

Tools>Options>Network and in Protocols for Multimedia (this may differ depending
on your version of WMP) uncheck all boxes except the one that enables http
streaming and click Acept. From now on it should work OK without disconnecting
your wireless connection.
SPEED TEST
If the bitrate of the TV channel go down, you can check if the problem is due to
slow connection from your ISP (Internet Service Provider) using the following
link.
Note that if this is not the case, the problem could also be the streaming
server of the TV channel or radio station.
